Future 64 Project
Learn why MoDOT chose to conduct a Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) to address the aging infrastructure on I-64 through St. Louis’ Central Corridor. This area of the City of St. Louis is experiencing tremendous growth and investment both privately and publicly by local agencies. The Future64 study challenged the study team, regional partners, and the community to re-envision how I-64 could better fit the surrounding community. The study resulted in an action plan that included a roadmap for project development and funding opportunities.
