Traffic Management Enhancements Phase 3 (City of St. Louis)
The Traffic Management Enhancement Phase 3 project builds upon two successful phases and 20 years of corridor projects throughout the City of St. Louis. This project includes three major components including Camera and Network Design, TMC staffing, and a Downtown Multimodal Study. The City of St. Louis has over 500 signalized intersections with approximately 375 signals connected to a TACTICS ATMS. The network includes 96 miles of fiber, 35 surveillance cameras and additional ITS components. The vision for the Downtown Multimodal Plan, including bike plan development is to develop a robust multimodal system that enhances connections for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and motorists, of all ages and abilities, while improving quality of life, supporting economic growth and community development, easing congestion and bettering air quality, and improving public health.
